Welcome to {*F.A.F*} Friends and Family. Our MOHAA server and community may be organized in the present, but our roots go way back… long before Discord existed, and definitely before the modern gaming world looked anything like it does now. Many of us grew up playing MOHAA and Spearhead, and some of us were part of clans that helped define those early days. I, Kayla, first played in the {*NWO*} clan on Spearhead, back when TeamSpeak was the go-to way to communicate and when servers stayed active deep into the night.
If you played back then, you know exactly the feeling — logging on with friends, recognizing familiar names, and jumping into maps that became a second home. Some people gravitated toward V2, but for many of us, Stalingrad was the real battleground. It was where matches got competitive fast and where most of us learned how to survive (or not survive) within the first five seconds of spawning.
Today, we’ve brought that same energy into {*F.A.F*}. The name is exactly what it sounds like: Friends and Family. Right now, our members genuinely are family. I’m {*F.A.F*} Kayla… sister to {*F.A.F*} Juju… and mom to {*F.A.F*} Queen Bee and {*F.A.F*} Spiderman. We’ve grown up around this game, drifted away from it, and eventually found our way back, because something about MOHAA never really leaves you.
Even though this server is newly built, we’re not new to the community. We’re restarting with experience, history, and a genuine appreciation for what made MOHAA special in the first place. And now, we’re looking to expand. We want players who enjoy a relaxed, respectful environment… people who appreciate the nostalgia, the gameplay, and the sense of community that old-school games still carry.
A quick note for anyone joining us:
Our server uses custom maps. To play them, you’ll need to download the files and place them into your MOHAA “main” folder. Once that’s done, you’ll be able to jump into everything our rotation offers without any issues.
At the end of the day, {*F.A.F*} is about bringing people together — old players returning, new players discovering the game, and anyone who values a friendly, grounded community. Whether you’ve been around since the early 2000s or you’re just getting started, we’re glad to have you here.
I must add that this is a family-based, family-friendly server. We expect clean, fair gameplay and respectful behavior from everyone. Please be aware of your language and help us keep this a welcoming place for all ages.
